My entire life has been devoted to education. It is not only about educating others but also about educating myself ... to be a life-long learner. Photography has been a passion of mine since 1985 when I purchased my first SLR Pentax K1000 camera taking roles and roles of film negatives and slides (many of you young Whipper-snappers probably don't know what that is - LOL). After retiring from education in 2015, I began to spend a great deal of my time traveling and was able to combine my two greatest passions ... photography and travel.
Today, I am constantly learning so much more about photography ... about social media ... and also learning a great deal about different cultures that I visit. There is no better education than to experience the culture first-hand and to capture those special memorable moments in time. Life is damn good.
